[Doodles] Style Development Stuff 2 by hooksnfangs [Doodles] Style Development Stuff 2 by hooksnfangs
Here are some more doodles of me further developing my new style.

Faces on top left are quick doodles of how I currently draw a simple girl face.

So The first character I tried putting the change on was Cynthia... HOWEVER for some reason she's the toughest one for me to apply the style change, so I didn't go too far with it. If there's one thing about her that I'm changing, it's her hair. She no longer has individual "dreads" in the back for simplicity purposes. Personally I've always wanted to change that part on her.

Since the change was difficult for Cynthia, I went ahead and drew Lelani, Celeste, Ssserpentina, and Vicky. I feel like Lelani and Celeste translated well into the style change.
It seems like there won't be a change on TIMBO... I can't seem to change the guy!

I think I'm getting the hang of how to draw the bodies for this style. What I need to work on more are faces, hair, and shapes.

Here's the first doodles of my style development:

I like the expression array here, and the character designs of all shapes and sizes are great to see as well. Well done here! :)

Coolest is most likely TIMBO laying in the bottom middle :p

So, are you going for a simpler, more angular feel, I'm guessing?

Your short description there is exactly what I'm doing
Don't worry, this isn't a replacement for my typical pinup work :)

I've been working on doing the same thing. Simplify, more gestural.

:highfive: Good to know you're doin' something similar!
I've always found it fun to make things angular and I tend to draw that way when doing gestures
