Mermaid - Ula

Hey! It's my first pinup for 2015!

After drawing my last monster girl doodles , I had an itch to draw another mermaid pinup. Luckily these doodles helped me out on how I should go around drawing one since I've been REALLY PICKY about drawing one.

Aside from that, it was hard to pick out a color scheme because I had two people help me do that. My co-worker suggested to use pink and turquoise while my sister helped me go about using it. And we also looked at Betta fish for references haha!
I'd say this pinup took me quite a while due to me experimenting with texture. I didn't want to paste a scaley texture because I thought that wouldn't look as good.

Overall a very fun pinup and great start for 2015
